While GLWS does not charge for domain name registrations, Network Solutions, Inc. imposes a yearly fee. You will pay $70.00 up front for a two year registration, and then an additional $35.00 per year when your first two years are up. This is a separate fee that is in no way associated with GLWS.
Your account will never be shutoff for exceeding data transfer limits, additional bandwidth is billed at $10.00/mo. for every additional 1000 MB
